In-House Sound Reinforcement

Sound and lighting are treated as part of the performance, not add-ons. We travel with our own professional production system, including Electro-Voice and Mackie audio components, Shure microphones, ART processing, Yamaha control, and modern digital infrastructure designed specifically around Elevation’s arrangements and dynamics.

Because we own and operate our system, nothing is outsourced and nothing is unfamiliar. Our dedicated sound and lighting engineer works exclusively with the band and knows the material, the transitions, and the expected energy at every point in the night. Vocals are clear and present, horns are balanced, and volume is controlled so guests can comfortably converse during dinner while still feeling the impact of the music once the dance floor opens.

We do not use floor wedge monitors. Every musician performs with in-ear monitoring, which dramatically reduces stage volume and eliminates feedback, harshness, and uncontrolled bleed into the room. This is a major reason the sound is clean, controlled, and noticeably quieter than relying on traditional floor wedges — without sacrificing power or clarity.

Production extends beyond audio. We deploy coordinated stage lighting, including floor-based moving fixtures that enhance the dance floor without overwhelming the room. Lighting is actively monitored and adjusted in rhythm with the music being played, not pre-programmed or static, which allows energy to build naturally as the night progresses.

By owning the sound, the lighting, and the operation of both, we remove variables that can be disruptive. The result is a polished, intentional production that feels exciting on the dance floor, comfortable during conversation, and consistent from the first microphone check through the final song.
